When an event like this occurs, the camera starts recording and locks the file on the microSD card, preventing it from being overwritten by looped video.
Also, the parking monitoring feature monitors your car while it is parked and with the engine off.
If it detects motion or a collision, the camera automatically starts recording so you know what happened while you're away from your car.
